Breaking: Sexual assault reported in Schaaf Hall

Bexley Police are now investigating the sexual assault of a Capital student that occurred Jan. 26.

Earlier today, Nicole Johnson, assistant vice president of marketing, sent out an update to the safety bulletin notifying the public about a Schaaf Hall resident who was sexually assaulted. The incident occurred after 2 a.m. Saturday. The female student was assaulted by a man who is not a Capital student. The two met at a Columbus bar. The student was taken to the Grant Medical Center and the investigation is now in the hands of Bexley Police.
