Between late Saturday Jan. 18 and Sunday Jan. 19, two instances of sexual assault occurred in a residence hall on campus.
Last weekend, two separate incidents, one reported as nonconsensual fondling and the other as nonconsensual sexual intercourse, occurred in an unspecified residence hall on campus.
Both were reported to Capital University Public Safety early on Jan. 22, and both reports identified the same individual, also a Capital student, as the assailant.
Students received a Safety Bulletin update on Wednesday afternoon.
“Sexual assault is any sexual activity that occurs in the absence of consent,” the Safety Bulletin email sent by Nichole Johnson said.
No charges have yet been filed, and the Bexley Police Department is investigating.
As of press time, the Bexley Police could not provide any additional information.
