Alexandria Goodwin, age 20, a rising junior at Capital University, was found dead Thursday at her mother’s Columbus home.

Goodwin was reported missing around 9a.m. at which point Capital PD, in conjunction with the Columbus Police Department, began conducting a search.
The investigation into the events leading up to her death is currently ongoing. The Chimes will release more information as it becomes available.
Goodwin was a public relations major, member of Phi Sigma Sigma, and co-director of orientation.
Her loss has certainly shocked not just family and friends, but the entire campus community.
There will be a public vigil hosted by Phi Sigma Sigma, Friday May 6 at 7p.m. at the fountains.
