Capital’s Bucket List

With many a bucket crowding our news feeds in response to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, it seems the long-standing connotation between ‘bucket’ and ‘list’ is over and done with. However, after students chimed in on what everyone must accomplish at Capital before graduation, the bucket list has been reborn.

  1. “Go to Nyoh’s and learn how to line dance.” – Ryne Crews, junior
  2. “Ring the victory bell.” – Patrick Donahue, senior
  3. “Get a group of people together to step on every fountain, except one, so that a huge jet of water sprays everywhere.” – Kelsey Fairchild, junior
  4. “Go to the Zig (when of age) to experience the school’s small college bar.” – Katelyn Stahl, senior
  5. “Be in a performing ensemble or some musical group.” – Robert Boyd, junior
  6. “Go to Capital’s Christmas Festival.” – Emily Wiseman, junior
  7. “Go for a walk around Bexley at night, around 3 a.m. It’s really peaceful and beautiful.” – Xavier McAllister, senior
  8. “Go see The Room at the Drexel. You get in free if you wear a red dress.” – Amanda Rigdon, senior
  9. “Get on top of the Cap Center.” – Anonymous
  10. “Explore the underground tunnels.” – Anonymous
