Columbus Landmarks Foundation is teaming up with Ohioana Library for a second season of Lit, Lives and Landmarks bus tours.
The tour James Thurber and His Columbus Haunts will be taking place Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The meeting place is Thurber Center, located at 77 Jefferson Ave.
Featured during the tour is a live performance of James Thurber’s “The Night the Ghost Got In,” written while Thurber was living in the house. The guided bus tour will also travel to Thurber’s favorite ghostly haunts around Columbus.
Thurber House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Many ghostly experiences have been reported from within the house, and the house was featured on an episode of SyFy’s “Ghost Hunters.”
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at http://ohioanalibrary.mybigcommerce.com/.
