Far Cry 5 was released in early 2018 to positive reviews. Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter game where one is attempting to leave an island. Far Cry 6 is available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Mac.
The last Metroid game was Metroid: Samus Returns in 2017, and it received high reviews. They are continuing with the 2D side scroller style of the past with Metroid: Dread but be aware fans have claimed it to be quite a challenge. It is available on Nintendo Switch, exclusively.
Jackbox Party Pack 8 is a big hitter for the party-game genre. Jackbox Party Pack 8 is a combination of five party games to play with friends. Fans of the series will recognize Drawful on the list of games here as well as four new games to the Jackbox series. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
For those in the fighting game community, the release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has been an exciting and welcoming release. It is a very fast paced game very similar to Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Some fan favorite mechanics of Melee have been incorporated such as wavedashing and waveshining. However, fans are hoping to see a lot more added to the game in the future. At its current state the game’s mechanics feel good, but the game’s style feels bland. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
