“Call It What You Want,” but rumors about Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and world-renowned popstar Taylor Swift have sparked after Swift was spotted at the Chiefs game on Sept. 24 at Arrowhead Stadium.
After the game, the “New Romantics” were spotted driving away in his “Getaway Car” and later getting cozy at a restaurant that Kelce rented out for the night. Pop music and football fans alike have been talking about the two since.
The alleged couple has remained quiet about the nature of their relationship, which is “Nothing New” for Swift. Getting her to comment on her love life is about as rare as “Snow on the Beach.” Kelce, however, has briefly addressed Swift on a few occasions in his podcast.
Kelce was “Enchanted” by Swift when she performed at Arrowhead Stadium in July on her Eras Tour. He expressed his disappointment that he was not given the chance to talk to Swift and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, which he revealed on his podcast New Heights with brother Jason Kelce.
Never in his “Wildest Dreams” did Kelce think that two months later, Swift would be cheering him on from the sidelines in Kansas City, MO.
“The Last Time” Swift was spotted with a potential love interest was her brief rumored fling, Matty Healy from the band The 1975. After making an appearance at a handful of her shows and in a few paparazzi pictures, it was evident that Healy was not “The Lucky One.”
The brief “Love Story” between Swift and Healy started hitting the news after her relationship with Joe Alwyn ended around the beginning of her tour. Fans thought Swift and Alwyn were “Endgame,” but he was not “The Man” for Swift.
Alwyn and Swift began dating in October 2018, and dated for six years before breaking up in April 2023. There were no “Paper Rings” for “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” and fans were devastated to learn that Alwyn was just another “Picture to Burn.”
It seems as though she has decided to take a break from the “London Boys” and has found a new “King of [her] Heart” with the Chief’s tight end.
While neither have confirmed or denied the allegations, Kelce took to his podcast once again to address the rumors of his potential new relationship with the international popstar and her appearance at Arrowhead Stadium.
He said, “Shout to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy…I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, you know the friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light…It was definitely a game I’ll remember.”
Swift was recently spotted once again in Kelce’s family and friends suite at the Chief’s game on Oct. 1 in New York. Swift cheered on the Chiefs once again, joined by a few of her friends.
Fans are waiting for an answer about the two, but it seems as though the “Lavender Haze” is creeping up on them.
