The softball team will take on Otterbein April 28 in their final regular season game for the 2011-2012 season.
Regardless of the outcome of the game, their win percentage will remain impressive for the season.
After 33 games since February, the team has secured a 20-13 overall record with 5-6 in the OAC.
This will mark the 14th consecutives year that Head Coach Nan Payne has led the team to a 20 win season.
It’s been an eventful month for the softball team, with seven double headers already played and three more before the end of the season. Freshman Alyssa Patznick also received OAC Player of the Week for Apr 2-8.
The team will join many other Capital sports teams by taking part in OAC tournament play after the spring semester has ended.
The first tournament games will be played May 4-5.
The winning teams will go on to NCAA Regionals May 11-12 and the NCAA Divison III Championship will take place on May 18-22.
