Pavilion to be built on campus

The City of Bexley has plans to build a pavilion on Capital University’s campus. The pavilion would be located on Main St. near Capital’s main gate.

According to William Mea, Capital’s Vice President for business and finance, The City of Bexley approached Capital about using their land to create the plaza.

Capital University would be donating this land, which is currently unused, to The City of Bexley who would be constructing and managing the plaza.

The pavilion would be open to Bexley residents and the Capital community.

Mea stated in an email, “Bexley is still determining how this will be financed, so I expect that this project will not be constructed soon.”

More details will be provided as the situation progresses.
