BREAKING: Power Outage affects Monday classes

A campus power outage has caused Monday classes and activities to be cancelled through 6pm at the Bexley campus (note: Trinity and Law School activities remain unchanged.)

Information was sent to students via a CapAlert at 12pm today informing all of the power outage issues affecting the Bexley campus. According to the CapAlert, there is no ETA from American Electric Power on when power will come back.

According to the AEP Ohio outage map as of 1:55pm February 8, there are 258 power outage cases throughout Ohio, with anywhere from 1-100 of those coming from Franklin County. There is no word as to how much of Bexley is affected by the outage.

The Chimes will continue to monitor this situation and update the story when power is restored.
