It’s hard to escape the buzz around E.L James’ 50 Shades of Gray, but even if you haven’t read the best selling novels, there’s still a chance for you to understand the phenomenon.
The CAPA is presenting SPANK! The 50 Shades of Gray Parody at the Southern Theatre. Spank is a hilarious new musical that brings all the naughtiness and fun of the 50 Shades of Gray books to life.
This sharp-witted comedy promises to deliver steamy, fun Chippendale style performances from the lead that plays Mr. Christen Gray himself and a lot of other fun surprises. The show is not associated with E.L. James in any way, or the actual books themselves, but almost all the reviews on Ticketmaster have given the show at least 4 out of 5 stars.
There are two shows this Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, from 8-10 p.m. Tickets range from $35 – 45 and are still available for both shows.
For more information about the show, you can visit the theatre’s website, www.capa.com, or call 614 -469-0939 with any further questions about the performance.
