A student has been charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor after a missing 15-year-old was found in his Lohman Complex room.
Divine Pugh, 19, of Columbus was arrested and charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor yesterday by Bexley Police according to Franklin County Municipal Court records. According to the university’s safety bulletin, the 15-year-old male was reported missing out of Springfield Township in Cincinnati since Friday, Nov. 30.
The minor’s mother contacted university police at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 after tracking the boy’s phone to Pleasant Ridge Avenue and Mound Street. As police searched the grounds for the minor, his phone was tracked to Lohman Complex. Police found the minor and Pugh in Pugh’s Lohman Complex room.
The minor was reunited with his parents according to the safety bulletin.
The safety bulletin said the university has temporarily suspended Pugh from the residence halls and “may take additional action as appropriate.”
According to Franklin County Municipal Court’s online records, Pugh was taken to Franklin County Jail and is scheduled for arraignment Monday, Dec. 3.
