With most activities, students have the ability to turn anything into a drinking game. Zoom and virtual hangouts are not to be left out.
Here are a few drinking games to play over the program that lets us go to class in underwear.
5. Netflix Party
This one is pretty simple. Have everyone join a Netflix party and grab their favorite drink. Every time a character says a keyword everyone takes a drink. For example, if you are watching Breaking Bad, every time Jesse insults someone, the group would take a swig.
4. Never have I ever
Everyone takes a turn being the person that everyone else questions. Once it is your turn you say something you have never done, and everyone who has done that thing takes a drink.
3. Jackbox
The only reason this is not #1 is that it can cost a pretty penny as Jackbox is not completely free but if you split the bill it is not bad. You can play any of the games available, preferably quiplash. Everyone writes the couple funniest things they can think of and then everyone responds to them two by two. The loser of each pair has to take a drink.
2. Uno
First, everyone needs to get the uno app on their phone. Next the host sends everyone the game ID. Once everyone joins, it plays like normal Uno. Every time a card affects another player (skip, +2, +4, etc.), that person has to take that number of drinks.
1. Two truths and a lie
This sounds a bit dull but hear me out. Some of the hottest tea has come from games of never have I ever, however, this game has the power to get you absolutely plastered if that’s what you’re looking for. Everyone comes up with two truths and a lie about themselves, then take turns letting everyone else guess what your truth is. Everyone who gets it wrong takes a drink.
Have fun, be safe, and no zooming and driving.
The Chimes does not promote underage drinking. Resources and help with alcohol addiction can be found here.
